Rebuild Together Brings 150 Volunteers from DreamWorks, Ernst & Young, and Charles Schwab to Daniel Webster

Daniel Webster Elementary School is proud to have been a featured site for Rebuild Together San Francisco twice in the last year. Through their amazing organization, PREFund, and hundreds of volunteer’s time and effort, we have a newly painted school, a beautiful mural and a new sidewalk garden on Missouri street.
The third and final Rebuild Together day will take place this Saturday, April 25th and will focus on building a large edibles garden against the south wall of the school, constructing a shade arbor in the ever-so-sunny play yard, painting a new mural (complements of DreamWorks), and cleaning out the interior of the school.
There will be two teams from three companies–Ernst and Young, Charles Schwab and Dream Works–totaling over 150 people volunteering from all over the Bay area working at Daniel Webster to beautify the campus.
April 18th was prep day. Dedicated volunteers moved massive slabs of concrete to prepare for the garden effort on April 25th. Click here to see the time lapse video of this incredible work.
